Frequently asked questions.
What is sound healing and how does it work?
Sound healing uses instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes and gentle frequencies to support deep rest and nervous system regulation. The sounds and vibrations help shift the body out of stress response and into a calmer state, where relaxation and restoration can occur. Many people describe feeling more grounded, rested, or emotionally lighter after a session.
Do I need any experience to attend a sound bath?
No experience is needed at all. Sound baths are completely passive — you simply lie down or sit comfortably and allow the sounds to wash over you. There is no pressure to meditate, “do it right”, or have a particular experience. Everything is guided gently and at your own pace..
Is sound healing safe for everyone?
Sound healing is generally very gentle and safe for most people. Sessions are inclusive and trauma-informed, with invitations rather than instructions. If you have specific medical concerns, are pregnant, or experience sound sensitivity, you’re always welcome to get in touch beforehand so adjustments can be made to support your comfort.
What might I feel during or after a session?
Everyone’s experience is different. Some people feel deeply relaxed or sleepy, others notice emotional release, mental clarity, or a sense of calm that continues afterwards. You may also feel nothing in particular during the session and notice subtle benefits later — all responses are valid.
